Whilst I was working for a production house in Athens, the city had a powerful impact on me, as an artist and a person, and I was determined to both leave behind and carry with me a piece of this place. I did this through the medium that had found me- Cinema. Dear Athens tells the story of two strangers- Ira and Ares, meeting in Athens, Greece sharing a sunrise on a hilltop and how their collective journey throughout the city of Athens becomes a reflection on the nature of self, humanity and a commentary on how things don't exist in the binary but they are ambiguous, from which human beings derive what their perceptions of self and the world allow them to.
