This Is Not My Home is a personal first hand narration by a woman who is speaking to her late father about her life and her recollection of him, accompanied by a visual log of the present. This film is a testament to the power of personal storytelling.
When an old video resurfaces of her late father, Vishakha confronts the impermanence of memories, sparking heartfelt conversations with him. In these moving exchanges, she shares her journey without him, expressing deep longing and the challenge of accepting a home devoid of his presence.
To hone my empathy and build a world of stories, where I can explore untouched and raw perspectives. We're all made up of stories- Let's hear one another's and help people feel comfortable sharing their vulnerability.
